Tire Consumer Daily a scam?

October 20, 2009 blackdrakes Leave a comment

Just want to share something i just found out.
I sort of damaged my father’s tires so i thought I’d look around for new ones.
I was looking around for tires and tire reviews and chanced upon this site.
http://tireconsumerdaily.com/index.php

Click on any tires you find there. Then refresh the page.
All the text are different but the tires are the same.
The only thing that remain constant was the score of 8.5

I don’t know what this site is trying to pull, but just to warn everyone.

Quite possibly the first few pictures of Super Import Night 2009

Here are some pictures of the exhibitors setting up.
Starting off with my FAVOURITE Garage R.

Carlingual
S2000? Aren’t they discontinued?

A new magazine, Redline, is also another exhibitor.
From what i see, the racing rig uses Logitech G25 steering wheel set running on a Playstation 3. I do not know what game would be used, but i suspect Grand Turismo 5 Prologue.

RunStop, not sure what this company does.

There are lots of other exhibitors, but these are the ones that were in the way.
Other cars that i saw included continental cars such as the Ariel Atom, Lambos, Ferraris, Porsches and hardcore modded jap cars such as GTRs and RX7.

Some pointers too note when photographing in the Super Import Night is that for 1st generation DSLRs (Nikon D200, D80, D2h and other brands equivalent), you should consider bringing a flash as the lighting seems to be not strong enough and you’d get very grainy pictures when you shoot at higher ISO. However, this could also be because most of the spotlights were not switched on by the exhibitors. Another alternative would be to bring a fast lens, f/2.8 would be ideal. Bring lots of batteries and memory cards. If you only have one set, charge it before you go. Bring a backpack for even weight distribution and only bring the lenses that you would really really need. Finally, remember to bring water to save money so that you can BBB.
